Brighter Futures provides an opportunity to people with health conditions and disabilities
to build skills, overcome barriers, increase self-esteem, and move closer towards potential employment.
Participants access training via formal learning and work experience including:
Soft skills – Maths and English – Number and Words
• Accredited training (including retail skills, developing workplace skills, catering, administration, volunteering…)
• IT skills
• CV preparations
• Contact with local employers and vocations
Participants put learning into practice by taking up a work experience or volunteering opportunity for a minimum of a six weeks in areas such as:
• Office administration
• Catering & Hospitality
• Public Service
• And many more
